However during the process I paid more attention to the Spectrophotometers name in OS X and it I decided I should look more closely at the settings of the calibration suite. Before I let my bias get the best of me it was off to the X-Rite site for help. I pulled out MY Mac, yes thats right I keep a Mac and was supposed to be using it.Īfter cursing at it for not working (the way I wanted it to work) I tried the calibration with the same result. Yesterday I decided I need to stop blaming and find the resolution. I was absolutely wrong on this occasion (like I am sure I have been many other times as well). So I admit I tend to go to my bias when I hit a problem. ![]() Yes that means I am biased against Apple and I know that means I tend to blame it for all my woes just like my users when they complain their plants wither after I update their Office applications. I am an avid ID10T in that I tend to disparage certain OS's out of a bias I need to give up. ![]() In my line of work I need to be aware of color calibration techniques and technologies and this was insightful thanks all.
